SAT Assessment
The SAT Reasoning Test is a test that measures critical reading, mathematical reasoning, and writing abilities. Many colleges require SAT scores for admission.
SAT Subject Tests are one-hour, primarily multiple-choice tests that measure your knowledge of particular subjects and your ability to apply that knowledge. Check the requirements of the colleges you're considering. Many require or recommend one or more Subject Tests for admission or placement.
This test is not administered on the Cal Poly campus, but is offered locally at Cuesta College.
Registration bulletins are available from high schools or The College Board, or you may register on-line at the official website.
Students having completed the SAT may request additional score reports at the website, as well.
