WPE: Writing Proficiency Exam
Cal Poly’s Writing Proficiency Exam is one of the ways that the Graduate Writing Requirement may be fulfilled.
The WPE is not given by the Cal Poly Testing Services office, but by Cal Poly’s Writing Skills Office.
Test is administered on a Saturday in October, January, and April.
